Code of Conduct

For IMF-Certified Models

As an IMF-certified model, you represent a commitment to professionalism and ethical standards. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for maintaining your certification and contributing to a safer modeling industry.

1Professional Conduct

As a certified model, you agree to:

  • Arrive on time and prepared for all bookings and castings
  • Communicate professionally with clients, agencies, and colleagues
  • Honor confirmed bookings and contractual commitments
  • Maintain accurate and current portfolio and measurements
  • Give reasonable notice if you must cancel or reschedule
  • Treat all individuals on set with respect and courtesy

2Honesty and Integrity

Maintain truthfulness in all professional dealings:

  • Provide accurate information in your IMF profile and applications
  • Do not misrepresent your age, measurements, or experience
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest or exclusivity agreements
  • Report only truthful information through the IMF reporting system
  • Do not file false or malicious reports against others

3Respect for Others

Create a positive working environment:

  • Treat everyone with dignity regardless of their role or position
  • Do not engage in bullying, harassment, or discriminatory behavior
  • Respect personal boundaries and consent in all interactions
  • Support colleagues who raise safety or ethical concerns
  • Maintain confidentiality about other professionals' private matters

4Safety and Reporting

Contribute to a safer industry:

  • Report misconduct, harassment, or unsafe conditions through IMF channels
  • Never retaliate against anyone who makes a report
  • Cooperate with IMF investigations when requested
  • Speak up if you witness unsafe or unethical behavior
  • Know your rights and advocate for safe working conditions

5Digital Presence and Identity

Protect your digital identity:

  • Use the IMF Digital Twin Authorization system for AI licensing
  • Report unauthorized use of your likeness or digital representations
  • Ensure all digital content usage is covered by proper agreements
  • Keep your certification badge and ID accurate and current
  • Do not misuse or share your IMF credentials with others

6Prohibited Behaviors

The following are strictly prohibited and may result in certification revocation:

  • Sexual harassment or assault in any form
  • Discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, or other protected characteristics
  • Exploitation or coercion of vulnerable individuals
  • Theft, fraud, or financial misconduct
  • Substance abuse that endangers yourself or others on set
  • Filing knowingly false reports to harm others
  • Retaliation against anyone who reports misconduct

Consequences of Violations

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:

Warning

Minor violations may result in formal warnings and warning points on your record.

Suspension

Repeated or moderate violations may result in temporary suspension of certification.

Revocation

Serious violations result in permanent revocation and public disclosure.

Your Rights

As a certified model, you also have rights:

  • Right to a safe working environment free from harassment
  • Right to clear contracts and timely payment
  • Right to refuse work without retaliation
  • Right to control your digital identity and likeness
  • Right to report concerns without fear of retaliation
  • Right to appeal any enforcement action
